By attending the Minnesota banquet, you are a part of a very unique event that will make a positive difference for wildlife habitat across the nation, as well as in Meeker County. Pheasants Forever operates under the very unique model of empowering local chapters with the responsibility to determine how 100 percent of their locally raised conservation funds will be spent. PF is the only national conservation organization that operates through this truly grassroots structure. This local control allows Pheasants Forever members to see the fruits of their chapter efforts in their own communities, while belonging to a national organization with a voice on federal conservation policy in Washington D.C.

Event: 2021 Membership Raffle

Meeker County PF was voted as the MN 2020 chapter of the year and was just recognized in 2021 for having spent over $4,000,000 on local habitat and conservation education projects over the life of the chapter. With those accolades, more still needs to be done. Traditionally, our banquet has been our primary fundraiser and we need your help to continue to be successful. With the absence of a 2021 banquet, please renew your membership and consider participating in the enclosed raffle.

To accomplish our mission, we are holding a mail in membership drive and raffle. Below you will find the options to purchase your membership along with raffle chances for a trip to Border View Lodge on Lake of the Woods and several firearms. We appreciate your support of Pheasants Forever and look forward to holding a banquet as soon as we can do so.

Note: Corn and soybean seed is available for food plots. If interested, contact Josh Pommier by 4/16/2021 at the following number for availability and seed pickup location and time.

Hunter Safety Courses

Hunter Safety Courses

While we all like to have fun in the field and chase pheasants for miles, safety is one of the most important aspects. We promote and encourage hunter safety in the field. Hunter education classes show both youth and adults the proper way to hold, maneuver and practice proper gun care. We at Minnesota believe it is essential for kids to become familiar with gun operation and be comfortable with handling their firearm. For more information on our youth hunts, please contact us through our website. If you are interested in enrolling yourself or your child in the Minnesota hunter education course, please click the link below.

Monthly Meetings

Monthly Meetings

Join us for our monthly meetings. The Meeker County Pheasants Forever would like to invite all members to attend these meetings. We discuss local habitat projects, youth events, annual banquet or other items related to Pheasants Forever and our local community in Minnesota. Meetings are held on an as needed basis. We have a email list of 30 individuals who help out at various times throughout the year. We encourage new folks to our meetings to help with local habitat projects.  We do not have regular monthly meetings, rather we schedule meetings as projects and activities come up.  Please join our email list to keep up to speed on meetings.

Social Get-Togethers

Social Get-Togethers

Each August the chapter hosts a pork chop feed and meeting at Hamm Seeds in Grove City. All the previous years banquet helpers are invited to enjoy some great company, prepare for the next banquet season, and hear how the chapter is making Meeker County a better place to hunt.
